Trippio (trippio.lovable.app) is a personal project created and operated by Eran Briman, travel blogger at thelaughingtraveller.com. Trippio is not a registered company or commercial entity.

By using Trippio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Trippio collects only what is necessary to provide the service. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data.

• Google account name & email — Authentication via Google OAuth. Stored in the backend.
• Trip details (name, destination, dates) — Core app functionality. Stored in the backend.
• Trip items (flights, hotels, activities etc.) — Itinerary planning. Stored in the backend.
• Booking references & passenger names — Extracted from confirmations for reference during travel. Stored in the backend.
• Uploaded documents (PDFs, images) — Document storage feature. Stored in file storage.
• Smart Paste input (text or image) — Sent to AI for extraction only. Not stored — discarded immediately.

Trippio uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Anthropic (Claude) — Powers the Smart Paste feature. When you paste text or upload an image, it is sent to Anthropic's API for extraction only, then discarded. Trippio does not store the raw input. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy ( anthropic.com/legal/privacy).
• Google (Maps, Places, OAuth) — Used for map display, place search, destination photos, and authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy ( policies.google.com/privacy).
• Supabase — Database and file storage provider. Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy ( supabase.com/privacy).
• Lovable — Hosting platform for the app. Subject to Lovable's Privacy Policy ( lovable.dev/privacy).

Trippio does not control the privacy practices of these providers. By using Trippio, you acknowledge that data may be processed by these third parties under their respective terms.

Trippio allows you to upload documents such as e-visas, insurance certificates, and booking vouchers for convenient access during travel.

Important: Avoid uploading highly sensitive identity documents such as passports, national ID cards, or documents containing financial account numbers. While files are stored securely, you upload documents at your own discretion and risk.

Uploaded files are stored in file storage and accessed via short-lived signed URLs that expire automatically. Files are accessible only to the authenticated account that uploaded them.

Trippio offers two sharing features:

• Read-only trip link — A unique link that allows anyone with the URL to view your itinerary without logging in. This link does not include uploaded documents.
• Trip Wishes form — A link that allows others to suggest activities for your trip.

When you share a link, you are making that content accessible to anyone who has the URL. Trippio is not responsible for any consequences arising from sharing these links. You may disable sharing at any time from within the app.

Share links are marked as noindex and are not indexed by search engines. However, anyone with the link can view the content.

Trippio implements the following security measures:

• Authentication via Google OAuth — no passwords stored by Trippio
• Row-Level Security (RLS) on all database tables — users can only access their own data
• Signed, expiring URLs for all stored documents
• Biometric authentication required to access the documents section, with a 15-minute expiry
• All data transmitted over HTTPS
• Smart Paste input (text and images) is never stored

Despite these measures, no system is completely immune to security risks. Trippio is a personal project operated by a single individual and has not undergone formal professional security auditing. Use the app with this context in mind.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time.

• Delete a trip or item — available directly within the app
• Delete uploaded documents — available within the documents section
• Delete your account and all associated data — contact us at the email below and we will remove your account and all data within 14 days

Trippio does not retain any data beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

Trippio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or security.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eran Briman and Trippio shall not be liable for:

• Any unauthorized access to or breach of your data stored on third-party infrastructure
• Any loss, corruption, or unavailability of data
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the app
• Any consequences arising from information extracted by the AI (Smart Paste) being inaccurate or incomplete
• Any consequences arising from sharing your trip link with others
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind

By using Trippio, you acknowledge that you are using a personal, non-commercial application operated by a private individual, and that your use is entirely at your own risk.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Trippio may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via the app.
